Air Flow Meter Adapter – Opel Z20LET / Z20LEL / Z20LEX (80 mm → 102 mm)

This precisely engineered adapter replaces the original 80 mm air flow meter housing on common Opel engines (e.g., Z20LET, Z20LEL, Z20LEX) and allows for direct connection of a sport air filter with a 102 mm connection diameter. Ideal if you are upgrading to a larger intake and still want to use the original air flow meter.

What the adapter does

• Replaces the standard 80 mm MAF housing and allows connection of a 102 mm sport air filter.
• Conically shaped inner profile for the most even possible airflow to the air flow meter.
• Integrated mounts/stops for a 102 mm air straightener (e.g., available from Turbozentrum Berlin).
• The air straightener is simply inserted into the wider end of the adapter (upstream of the MAF) until it rests against the integrated stops.

• Inlet connection: 102 mm (for sport air filters with 102 mm connection)
• Outlet / MAF seat: 80 mm (Original dimensions of the standard air flow meter)
• Material: Carbon fiber reinforced plastic – 3D printed, high strength, matte textured surface
• Development & Manufacturing: In-house at ABCustoms (Design, Printing & Final Inspection)

Installation Instructions

• Before installation, check: shape of the original MAF housing and clearance in the engine bay.
• Slide the adapter onto the MAF seat and secure with the original fasteners (if applicable).
• Mount the sport air filter to the 102 mm connection. If an air straightener is to be used, insert it into the adapter before the MAF until it rests against the stop.
