Intake for Opel Astra H – Under the Slam Panel (76 mm)

The intake developed by ABCustoms for the Opel Astra H is mounted directly under the slam panel and offers a clean, short intake path with a 76 mm hose connection. This makes it compatible with the air filter box of the z20leh or the often used 1.9 CDTI diesel box and ensures a significantly improved fresh air supply.

Compatibility & Combinations

The intake perfectly complements the ABCustoms air filter box lid (Short-Path / High-Flow) in conjunction with the diesel box. Together, these components form an ideal, street or motorsport-suitable short-intake setup that supplies the engine with sufficient cool fresh air.

Material & Manufacturing

• Manufactured in-house at ABCustoms.
• 3D printed from carbon fiber reinforced nylon (Nylon CF) – high rigidity, excellent heat resistance, and long service life.
• Prototypes and production versions were tested and approved for practical use by a recognized Guru of the Opel scene.

Installation Instructions

• Installation under the slam panel using existing mounting points; small adjustments may be possible depending on the vehicle condition.
• Secure the 76 mm hose (not included) with a clamp; ensure clean, crack-free hoses.
• Recommended: Combination with our air filter box lid for the short intake path and the diesel box for optimal results.

This intake does not have a partial certificate or ABE. It is not approved for use in public road traffic and is intended exclusively for motorsport or show purposes, or for use on closed tracks or in private areas. Any possible registration via individual approval (§21) should be discussed in advance with an authorized inspection engineer.
