89mm connection to air filter – maximum filter selection

The connection to the air filter has an 89mm diameter. This means the pipe fits innumerable air filters (open or closed). For a harmonious overall package, I recommend closed filters, e.g., a Ramair ProMax – similar to the filter housing shown in the pictures.

Material & Construction

The parts are made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic. The geometry is flow-optimized to avoid unnecessary edges/turbulence. In addition, the deliberately thin wall thickness ensures that the intake acts as a resonance body – the result: more presence in the intake sound.

Important note on approval (StVZO)

This intake does not have a parts certificate, ABE, or any other approval documentation. Use on public roads is therefore not automatically permitted. If you still wish to use the part within the scope of the StVZO, you must clarify its registratibility in advance with your inspection organization (e.g., TÜV, DEKRA, KÜS, GTÜ). Use on public roads is only permitted after successful acceptance/individual acceptance by a recognized inspection engineer and corresponding registration.
