Air Ducts for Opel Astra F (non-GSI) – suitable for fog light mounts

The air ducts developed by ABCustoms were specifically designed for the non-GSI bumper of the Opel/Vauxhall Astra F. They are mounted on the existing fog light brackets – the fog lights themselves are removed. A 50 mm hose can be attached to a receptacle on the duct (hose not included).

Note on Fit Accuracy

During prototype test fitting, it was observed that the production bumpers of the Astra F can have high manufacturing tolerances and may be slightly uneven due to aging/deformation. Therefore, a 100% precise fit cannot be guaranteed in every individual case. Our air ducts are designed to rest on the inside of the bumper and are slightly larger than the visible opening – this compensates for common tolerances and still ensures secure mounting.

Installation Instructions

Before installation, remove existing fog lights and associated cables/brackets.
Insert the air ducts into the fog light mounts and secure them using the original mounting points.
Push the 50 mm hose into the receptacle and secure it with a clamp (hose/clamp not included).
Check the position: The duct should rest on the inside of the bumper. For very uneven bumpers, slight readjustment or a soft sealing strip may be advisable to improve sealing.

Maintenance & Notes

Regularly check for secure fit and damage – especially after exposure to stone chips or track use.
In case of contact with aggressive cleaning chemicals or prolonged UV exposure, a visual inspection for material changes is recommended.

These air ducts do not have a type approval or ABE. They are therefore not approved for use in public road traffic and are intended exclusively for use in motorsport or on closed tracks, or for show/render purposes. Installation is at your own risk.
