Many Opel models from the 90s now have a typical problem: a wobbly accelerator pedal with noticeable play. The pedal feel is imprecise, old, and of low quality – especially since you are constantly in contact with the accelerator pedal. The cause is almost always a worn bushing in the accelerator pedal holder. After over 30 years, the original material is simply worn out, and original spare parts are usually no longer available today.

This newly manufactured accelerator pedal bushing replaces the worn original bearing and ensures that the accelerator pedal feels firm, precise, and significantly higher quality again. A small component – with a big impact on the driving experience.

Material & Properties

The bushing is made from a highly wear-resistant plastic that has excellent sliding properties due to its PTFE content (Teflon). This allows the accelerator pedal to run smoothly, with minimal friction and very low wear – ideal for a permanently play-free bearing.

• 2x bushing halves for complete renewal of the accelerator pedal bearing

Installation note

For optimal function and maximum service life, it is recommended to lightly grease the bushing with bearing grease or standard all-purpose grease during assembly. This further reduces friction, minimizes wear, and ensures a smooth, play-free accelerator pedal feel in the long term.
