This brake cooling system was developed for Opel Astra F, Calibra A and Vectra A, specifically to direct more fresh air to the brake disc and brake disc hat. The basic principle is based on the original cooling system from the Opel Astra G OPC, but has been consistently further developed in terms of intake area and airflow.

More Fresh Air for Lower Brake Temperatures

Thanks to the enlarged intake area, significantly more cooling air can be drawn in and specifically directed to the braking system. Especially during sporty driving, on mountain passes or track days, this helps to reduce thermal stress and counteract fading.

Optimized Airflow Instead of Air Loss

The exit angle was specifically designed so that the air does not flow uncontrollably past the brake, but arrives directly where it is needed – at the brake disc and hat. This is precisely where the greatest thermal stress occurs.

OEM-like Mounting on the Control Arm

The attachment is made with two screws directly to the control arm on each side. This ensures that the brake cooling system sits securely and stably, even under sporty loads. The assembly is deliberately simple and functional.

Made from Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic

The air ducts are manufactured in-house from carbon fiber reinforced plastic. The material combines high rigidity, temperature resistance and low weight – ideal for use under demanding conditions.

Developed for Performance and Motorsport

The brake cooling system is ideal for track tools, fast road vehicles and performance-oriented conversions. Especially with heavier or more powerful vehicles, targeted brake ventilation can make a significant difference.

Installation Note

After installation, it should be checked that the brake cooling system has sufficient clearance to the wheel, brake, control arm and other movable components – especially in lowered vehicles or with altered suspension geometry. Regular checking of the secure fit is recommended.
